Synopsis:This film depicts the misconceptions that many people have towards the situation of prostitutes and sex workers. There is a notion that prostitutes are choosing this line of work freely, however what people choose to turn a blind eye to is the 2-4 million women and children who will be forced into prostitution in the next 12 months. These women are forced, coerced and threatened to work in the industry which generates a billions of dollars annually. South East Asia is major destination for child trafficking and sex tourism which is evident on the streets and in the nightclubs, yet why are we not doing more to stop this criminal activity? PROJECT FUTURES (http://www.projectfutures.com) has created this film to raise awareness about the serious crime that is sex trafficking and the dire situations that many vulnerable women and even children find themselves in.
